Can I save a TikTok video as MP4 with ClipTik?
ClipTik can prepare an MP4 download for public TikTok video links. Paste a TikTok video URL, wait for ClipTik to verify the link, then save the MP4 before the short-lived download link expires. Use ClipTik only for videos you own or have explicit permission to save.
Which TikTok links work with ClipTik?
ClipTik supports public TikTok video links - the URL you get from TikTok's Share menu after tapping Copy link. It works with both the full tiktok.com URL and the shortened vm.tiktok.com format. Private accounts, unlisted content, and non-video TikTok pages are not supported.
Does ClipTik work with private TikTok videos?
No. ClipTik only works with public TikTok videos. It does not log in to TikTok, use session cookies, or bypass platform protections. If a TikTok video is restricted to followers or hidden behind a private account, ClipTik cannot prepare an MP4 download for it.
Can ClipTik save TikTok photos, live videos, or audio pages?
No. ClipTik is built specifically for TikTok videos delivered as MP4. Photo posts (slideshows), live streams, and music or audio pages are not supported. If you paste one of those links, ClipTik returns a clear message instead of preparing a download.
Does ClipTik store TikTok videos?
No. ClipTik does not store, host, or persist any TikTok video. The video bytes stream from TikTok directly through our server to your device in real time, and nothing is written to disk on our infrastructure. Once your download completes, no copy remains on our side.
Why does my TikTok download link expire after about 60 seconds?
Each TikTok MP4 download link ClipTik gives you is short-lived - it works for about 60 seconds, then stops. This keeps the link from being shared, scraped, or replayed after it leaves your screen. If yours expires, paste the TikTok URL into ClipTik again to get a fresh one.
Why does the same download link work only once?
ClipTik download links are one-time-use by design. The first successful click saves the MP4 to your device; any later click on the same link will not start a new download. To save the same TikTok video again, paste the original TikTok URL into ClipTik to get a fresh, one-time link.
Why can a TikTok download fail?
TikTok can change its video formats, return errors, or rate-limit requests at any time, which can interrupt a ClipTik download mid-process. When that happens, ClipTik shows a clear error message instead of a half-broken file. Try the TikTok link again in a moment, or paste a different one.
Can I use ClipTik on iPhone, Android, or desktop?
